I will always be grateful for the memories shared with my Granda. From stories of trolls under the bridge at Whitley Bay seafront, to time on the bowling green, it was always fun with lots of laughter.
I will miss him.
See you on the heap, Granda!

Granda
I remember you always being so generous. From jelly pastilles from the side of your chair, to pocket money as we left, or lifts wherever we wanted in your Micra.
When I take Carys to the library I think of you doing the same with me when I was young, to get videos. And now when I’m doing my little garden, I think of how you loved your flowers and telling me passionately about the miracle of fertiliser. And I laugh most when I think of you insisting, despite fair play rules, “it’s magnets!”, referring to the Tipping Point machine on ITV, which has plastic discs, and metal sound effects added later.
You were a one of a kind character and your legendary laugh will stay with me forever!
Thanks for everything and God bless you Granda Harry - the Lord is your shepherd x

Few people in the world were as legendary as my Granda. He loved his family and if he wasn’t laughing he was making us laugh. We hit the jackpot with him.

See you on the heap Granda.
